  1. Awesome Sharks By Chase & Jud

  2. This story is dedicated to: • The library. –Jud • Sharks, and my grandma. -Chase

  3. Sharks can be gray, white, tan and different colors. Sharks have gills to breathe. Shark skin is bumpy and tough like sand paper. Sharks have large fins on top and bottom. Sharks have no bones. They have cartilage. It is soft and bendable. On the top it looks like coral. Some sharks have a light belly so its hard to see looking up. Sharks can be up to 1500 – 2400 lbs and 11 to 21 feet long.

  4. Sharks have been on earth for millions of years. Near a shark’s home, there are fish that they try to eat. Sharks home look like blue water. Sharks live in all earth oceans. Sharks are around coral. We would love to live there because we can see lots of sea animals.

  5. A sharks diet is fish. Sharks are predators because they only eat food that is animals. People eat sharks, so sharks are prey to people. A shark get his prey by using its many rows of teeth.

  6. Sharks have many adaptations to help them survive. Sharks have 5 rows of teeth to help it get food and hold onto it. Sharks have good eyes. They see better than humans. Their cartilage lets them twist and turn when attacking. It can smell blood from an injured prey from miles away, too.

  7. Some sharks hatch from an egg. Most baby sharks grow in their mom’s stomach. A baby shark is called a pup. A shark group is called a gam, but that’s only for a feeding frenzy. Sharks do not stay with family, mostly. Sharks can live for up to 30 years.

  8. A character trait of a shark is deadly. They attack any animal if it is feeding. Sharks are brave because they aren’t afraid of anything. They are also gullable because they fall for tricks and lures and get caught by people.

  9. We compare to sharks because we can both swim and hunt, and we eat meat.

  10. We contrast to sharks because we have hair and sharks don’t. We don’t HAVE to hunt for food because we can just go to the store. But hunting would be cooler.

  11. Meet the Authors! I’m Chase, and I like to go to sleep and play football. I like sharks because they are dangerous. I hope you enjoyed this book we wrote. I’m Jud and I like to play video games. I like sharks because they are vicious predators! Thanks for reading our book.
