Loci’s frequency in HIV positive and uninfected individuals • Definitions: • Loci: specific physical location of a gene on a chromosome. • Chi-square test: method for testing the association between two variables in a two-way table (Chase) • G-test: similar to the Chi-square test but less sensitive to low expected values (Zar)
