Connecting the Language Parallel language is a way of structuring your descriptions so that the phrasing is similar.
Words and Phrases • With the -ing form (gerund) Parallel:Mary likes hiking, swimming, and bicycling.
Words and Phrases • With infinitives: Parallel:Mary likes to hike, to swim, and to ride a bicycle.
