TheMADD booth willfeaturegraphicdisplaysof autoaccidents.Volunteers willdistributeinformationalmaterialrelated tothedangersand preventionof drunk driving.VictoriaFlores, MADDChapterLeaderandVictimAdvocate, explains, “Over 10,000 peoplein theUnited States arekilled by drunk drivers everyyear. On average, someoneis killedin adrunk driving crash every51 minutes. In 2011, 226 childrenwerekilledin drunk drivingcrashes.Thesetragedies are100% preventable."
