  1. Inlay And Onlay

  2. Inlay In dentistry, an inlay is usually an indirect restoration (filling) consisting of a solid substance (as gold, porcelain or less often a cured composite resin) fitted to a cavity in a tooth and cemented into place. An inlay, which is similar to a dental filling is used inside the cusp tips of the tooth

  3. Onlay An onlay is a more substantial reconstruction, similar to the inlay but extending out over one or more of the cusps of the tooth. Dental onlays are sometimes referred to as "partial crowns.“

  4. Procedure Inlays and Onlays are two methods of restoring normal tooth structure after decay or other damage. During procedure, your dentist must prepare the damaged tooth. A molded impression of the tooth is then taken and sent to a dental laboratory, where the restoration is fabricated.  If you suffered any kind of denture problem, Welcome to Bridges Dental. Brandon Dentist provides the latest dental care.
