Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) Internal Auditor Course Based on OHSAS 18001:1999 Two Days Purpose & Outcome The purpose of this course is to prepare the participants for undertaking Internal Audits of the established OH&S Management Systems to OHSAS 18001 Standard. It is expected that the participants who attend this course would already have sufficient knowledge of Standard. The participants would be able to : • understand the application of OH&S Management Systems, • understand the importance of internal auditing within OH&S, • understand the responsibilities of OH&S internal auditors, • collect and analyze evidence, exercising objectivity, • evaluate and report the results of an internal audit, • plan, organize and conduct an internal audit to check the implementation efficiency of OH&S. By the end of the course, participants would be able to: • Plan an audit for OH&S. • Identify non conformities. • Report nonconformities • Verify corrective actions. Process Through presentations, workshops and role play participants would be : • provided an overview of OHSAS 18001 standard. • Shown how to - plan and perform auditing. - report nonconformities. - verify corrective actions. The course ends with a test. Certificates are issued to participants. Schedule : 0900 to 1730 Hrs. (Both days). Who Should Attend ?
