  3. Column Heading is optional, but is included in your record count. How to format your Spreadsheet – Order Matters!

  4. BU – you may use upper or lower case • Institutional Category – upper, lower or mixed case ** Category must be available on CCC • Company Cost Center (DAC) – string of numbers, formatted with space after company with hypens on either side of the function. Must have company and cost center in same column. • Distribution Amount – no decimals, dollar signs and commas are allowed. No negative amounts, unless ICAT is E&G Chargeback. Formatting Tips

  5. Jot down the number of rows in your spreadsheet, including your header row (if applicable) File Information

  6. Suggestion: keep your file name short and simple Converting Spreadsheet to Text file
