  2. Wet Pit Chopper Pump Designs Screw centrifugal seal housing designs There are three (3) types of wet pit chopper pump designs: submersible, vertical bearing and vertical cantilever.

  3. Wet Pit Chopper Pump Designs - Submersible Screw centrifugal seal housing designs The most common design is the submersible and it is typically specified for scum pits (off of clarifiers) or difficult lift stations.

The pumps are supplied with a quick-disconnect assembly and guide rails for the pump to slide up on. Discharge piping is left in place and untouched.
