  4. Indonesia Aceh II All three projects (ICBRR, WatSan, and OD) have been extended in Aceh West Sumatra OD/DM New Projects Greater Jakarta DRR Wonogiri – Integrated CBHFA/DRR Coastal Resilience and DRR Project

  5. Myanmar Support to Myanmar Red Cross Society Through emergency response team (ERT) trainings, NDRT specialised trainings on shelter, health, and WATSANrefresher training and curricula support. Revise and develop national and state/regional level disaster contingency plan for earthquake, cyclone, floods and fire Finalise SPHERE translation in Burmese and conduct one SPHERE training in local language. Enhancing Disaster Safety in Vulnerable Communities and Schools Project (OFDA) July 2013 – January 2015

Vietnam Community-Based Disaster Risk Management (CBDRM) Education, Care and Support for PLHIV Targeting high-risk segments of the population Forest and Deltas project: CCA and DRR with USAID Disaster risk reduction activities, engaging communities in 2 delta regions with development of action plans to enhance resilience to climate impacts.

Achievements and Opportunities -Communities are better trained and prepared (PCA over 30,000/year direct) -Development of RC core business (DP, FA) with staff -Infusion of vibrant volunteer force -Opportunities for multiple partnerships (agreements signed with govt, schools and universities, NGOs, emergency)

  12. -Service for high-risk groups (targeted materials for handicapped groups, including Braille IEC for blind) -High visibility for RC image (trainings, press, social media, PSA) -Income generation (corporate sponsorships + fee-based trainings).
