    4. BACKGROUND Issue: After a significant hurricane or other major event resulting in population isolation there is no organized capability in SC to accomplish a large scale rescue effort. Beaufort County request and discussion Confluence of events SC Helicopter and Aquatic Rescue Team (SCHART) Army National Guard RMAT stood up All were looking for a mission Admiral Branham US Coast Guard existing rescue capability

    5. Players Beaufort County US Coast Guard SC ARNG UH 60’s ASOC RMAT Red Cross SC Baptist Convention Disaster Services SCEMD and ESFs Other counties/regions?

How it Works Activation: State or unilateral, Liaisons, Stage pre-impact if possible Air Operations Commence ASAP post impact Check in/out with Beaufort EOC until chop to ASOC/TOC ASOC/TOC : entry/exit, search areas, airspace mgmt with FAA Ground Operations: Survivor Reception Center Infrastructure - Nice but self-sufficiency required Airport nice but not absolutely required Sequence of Events
