We have made certain assumptions about certain groups… • and it has defined the way we treat the families we serve. • At the Cabinet we believe that every child should experience our health and service system EQUALLY.

Children of Color Experience • Disproportionate Representation:Percentage of children of a certain race in general census population compared to the percentage of children of the same group in a system. • Disparate Treatment and Outcomes:When comparing minority to non-minority, children of color are treat differently and outcomes based on the treatment are different.
