What it’s not... • The DPR is not a transcript • Does not replace advisors and advising appointments
Accessing the Degree Progress Report Choose the Degree Progress Report link on the student services page then sign in with your purchase.edu account information
Running your report Click ‘Run for current major’ or choose to run the DPR for another major of interest by selecting the major from the dropdown and clicking ‘Run for major selected above.’
On the top half of the report you will find:Student NameMajorCatalog yearAdvisorLegendDegree credit requirementCoursework outside the Board of Study
The Legend Helps you interpret symbols you will see in the report
On the lower half of the report you will find:General Education requirementsMajor requirementsMinor requirementsGeneral ElectivesTransfer courses received Fall ’09 or later. Requirements designated as OK are fulfilled or in progressRequirements in red, with a NO are not fulfilled
Click the arrow on any requirement section to view the full text, including what is fulfilled/missing Sub-requirements with a + are complete or In Progress Sub-requirements with a - are not yet complete
Transferred courses... Courses transferred into Purchase College are directly articulated as Purchase College courses, wherever they are equivalent and needed. For example, this student successfully completed ENG101 at Westchester Community College. ENG101 and LWR1110 are equal and fulfill Basic Communication.
