PROFESSIONAL SCHOOL ORGANISATION LEARNING ENVIRONMENT LEARNING PROGRAMS TEACHING APPROACHES Open, de-privatised, flexible, collaborative. 100 minute sessions, teaching teams, contributive leadership. Inquiry rich, collaborative, Student centered, teacher as facilitator. Interdisciplinary, co-designed, challenge each learner. Developing expert learners • Deep knowledge and understanding are promoted when teachers help students to build knowledge around big ideas that give meaning and purpose. • Opportunities for students to create and actively develop knowledge when they draw connections across different fields & apply their learning in a range of real-world challenges

  11. Seeing further: the key to our future • Using ILE to improve learning for students • Embracing opportunities afforded by ILE • Ensuring teachers are supported to make the pedagogical shift afforded by ILE
