  10. GUS Processor Type 1 Configuration 3 After all files are installed the processor will reboot. This takes approximately three minutes. After processor reboots, remove the CD-ROM from the DVD-ROM drive. Procedure is complete. 1

GUS Processor Type 1 Baseline Configuration If you do not get Choice? displayed at beginning of configuration procedure, will have to reload the baseline by performing the following: • Insert WAAS Baseline Source/Executable Media Disc 1 of 4 into DVD-ROM drive • Power off the GUS Processor using the power button on front panel • Power on the GUS Processor • When IBM splash screen is displayed, press 1 after the keyboard icon is displayed, but before the speaker icon is displayed.

  12. GUS Processor Type 1 Splash Screen Press 1 after keyboard icon is displayed, but before speaker icon is displayed. This screen appears approximately 5 minutes after power on.

GUS Processor Type 1 Baseline Configuration • The Processor will reboot and begin installing the baseline files. • After approximately 12 minutes, Please remove volume 1, insert volume2, and press the ENTER key will be displayed. • When prompted, remove volume 1 from DVD-ROM drive and insert volume 2. • Repeat the above step for volumes 3 and 4.

  15. GUS Processor Type 1 Configuration After all of the baseline files are installed the processor will reboot. Note that this takes approximately 10 minutes. Wait for the Choice? prompt to appear and then remove the WAAS Workstation Baseline Source Executable Media CD-ROM from the CD-ROM drive and put in the GCCS Site Executable Media Build CD-ROM and perform the configuration as previously shown. • Select the task you wish to perform by entering • The number at the “Choice?” prompt below. • 1) Customize Workstation • 2) Install Third-Party Software • 3) Replace Basic Config Files • 4) Quit • Choice?: 1 • Select your system: • 1.
