  7. 2nd Campaign • A couple of years later • Started to look like it does today • Grand Apartement du Roi • “Kings Apartment” • Reserved for public affairs • Seven rooms named after mythology

  8. 3rd Campaign • Ten years later • Acquired the hall of mirrors • Court was also officiall established • Louis XIV walked from his private apartment to the chapel through this hall • Holds 578 mirrors • Ex. of baroque architecture

  9. 4th Campaign • Main focus was the Royal Chapel • Completed in 1710
