DSA Biometric Solutions PalmSecure – Fujitsu Palm Scanner
Single Sign On • Allows users to log into their Windows system by entering their user name, then using their palm vein scan to authenticate.
Check-in/Check-out • The perfect application for use in checking people in and out of physical locations to create quick and accurate audit trails for access-restricted areas.
Web Sign on • Palm scans can be integrated into web applications to allow users to authenticate with their hand.
Application Sign On • Can be integrated into an application for security purposes
Access Control Demo w/ Palmsecure and Secondary Identification
Integrate w/ Active Directory • Administrators can add palm scans in addition to user passwords or replace them completely with palm scans which are authenticated through Active Directory.
Hygienic Contactless Authentication • The palm vein scanner can be completely contactless once the staff is trained in its use, avoiding the spread of germs among employees and visitors, while still having all the benefits of a highly secure biometric security system.
Extremely Difficult to Forge • The Palm vein scanner uses near infrared rays to look at the reflection of blood cells in the users veins to map their palm print. This authentication will not work if blood is not flowing.
HIPAA Compliance • Can be used as one of the two forms of identification for health workers when transferring patient data as required by HIPAA
Replaced PIN in areas of Japan • The PalmSecure system has been used or is being considered in many settings like ATMs, Medical Records, Time Recording and Access control, and for public facilities such as airports, train stations and government buildings.
