  4. Reflexive Verbs • With reflexive verbs, the reflexive pronoun follows the imperative, and -te changes to -toi. For example: • Habille-toivite! (Get dressed quickly!) • Promenons-nousdans les bois. (Let's go for a walk in the woods.) • Couchez-vous, les enfants. (Go to bed, children.) • Dêpeche-toi/ Hurry up • Dêpechons-nous Let’s hurry up • Dêpechez-vous Hurry up

  5. Y et En (pronouns) En as a pronoun = some of them, of it, of them from there. • Used with verbs that take de and refers to things and not people. • Used with the notion of quantity for food e.g du sucre, du lait, des bananes • Returning from a place or country.

  6. En (pronouns) En as a pronoun = of it, of them, from there. Examples: • J’aibesoind’un livre J’enaibesoin • Tuveux du sucre?/ Tu as des soeurs? Oui, j’enveux Je n’enai pas 3. Je reviens de Paris J’enreviens

  8. Y Pronouns • Used with verbs that take à for things and not people. Example: Je pense à mesvacances j’ypense 2 Used for destinations motion towards a place or a country. (towns, villages, countries etc) Example: Je vais à Paris J’yvais.
