Inventory Maintenance Program • View Missing Items/Change to Found (p.23) • Changing status of items from missing to found must be confirmed. • Once an item has been changed to 'found' it is not possible to reverse it. (p.24) • View Unknown Items (p.25) • Report of Missing and Unknown Items (p.25) • Always run before inventory is finalized
Finalizing Inventory (p.26) • Before finalizing inventory, the Report of Missing Items and Unknown Items should be created and reviewed • This option should only be used when a library branch has completed its entire inventory for the year • Any items that are still “Missing in Inventory” at this time will be updated to the status “Missing in Inventory” in the MultiLIS database • Review the Exception-Items.Txt report for rejections (p.26)
