So…what is MUN?. Model UN is a simulation of the United Nations. In the United Nations, countries send delegates to represent them in the international arena. In the UN there are many different committees that discuss different issues like economics, human rights, global warming etc.

  1. So…what is MUN? • Model UN is a simulation of the United Nations. • In the United Nations, countries send delegates to represent them in the international arena. • In the UN there are many different committees that discuss different issues like economics, human rights, global warming etc.

  2. So…what is MUN? • Model UN is just like the UN. • At simulations there are several committees which discuss different issues. • You represent a certain country assigned to our school and try to resolve the problem to benefit your country. • MUN is one of the biggest clubs across the nation

  3. What’s a conference? • A conference is a 3-4 day simulation at a University. • The students of the University host the conference for high school students and monitor the UN simulation • Just like the UN you will discuss and try to resolve your issue with other countries represented by high school students from around the nation.

  8. Why should I do MUN? • The top performers of each committee at conferences win awards. • You get to meet high school students from around the nation • You get to discuss politics • We know how to have fun!
