Implement the UW System Climate Survey and develop an action plan based on the results. • UW-Stout is part of a 3rd round of UW System institutions to participate in the Climate survey • Survey has been developed by a consultant, Sue Rankin • Survey will be administered during spring semester 2011
Focus attention on developing and implementing an Inclusive Excellence action plan… • Diversity Leadership team conducted a series of listening sessions with faculty, staff and students • The committee is in the process of reviewing that feedback and developing an action plan • Action plan will be finalized and implemented in fall 2010, and will be updated annually
Implement the proposal for the Faculty Diversity Exchange pilot program… • Visiting faculty network diversity program in STEM centered on: • Sustainability • Nanotechnology and Materials Science • First step is 2-4 day visit of the HBCU faculty to Stout
