Writing Criterion Online Writing Evaluation: • Web-based program that evaluates a student's writing skills • Within seconds it provides scored reporting and diagnostic feedback to both writing instructors and students. • Essays are drafted and submitted. Students receive a holistic score with problem-solving annotations right in the text Also… Students will also use Grammar Bytes and Grammar Grabbers for reference and instruction

  5. Vocabulary Goals: • Vocabulary Expansion • Prepare for standardized tests such as the Keystone Exams *The program will be supplemented with vocabulary from the literature as well.

  6. Assessment Each assignment will be weighed individually. Assessments will be varied and will include formal tests, individual & group projects, oral presentations, work portfolios, and writing samples. District Standards are as follows: A= 90-100, B = 80-89, C = 70-79, D = 60-69, etc.
