Making the Most of Data: Real-Time Usage • Better data is better health • Health data is the basis of rational public health decision making • Health information is increasingly stored electronically • Electronic medical records, public health registries • Electronic data has to potential to catalyze better decisions • But this potential has not been fully exploited in public health response to HIV/AIDS
