Lessons Learned Require: • Go/No Go Joint Review of GC work packages by Owner and CM • Owner and CM to actively participate in development and conduct of initial work until satisfied the GC understands/demonstrates requirements • Flow-Down Go/No Go Review to sub-contractor work • GC to actively participate in development and conduct of initial work until satisfied the S/C understands the requirements • monitor S/C work assignment meeting, and • participate in execution of the first few work activities Communicate to contractors: • Safety regulations are monitored for compliance daily • Procedures for permitted work must be followed in detail • Accidents investigations will result in work stoppage, that may extend several days
Systems Installations & Readiness Reviews • Technical Component Installation • No safety incidents • Work planning model for SLAC • Readiness Review of Undulator Complex – Dec 2008 • Coordination Mtgs with committee to date • Installation complete before review • Readiness Review for Experiment Stations – March 2009 • Initial coordination discussion • Radiation studies underway • LUSI Readiness Review – 2010 • CD 2 Completed September • Technical reviews
