  3. MWA Fall Workshop 2016 • Municipal Landfill Site • Recycling Facility to extend landfill capacity • Two Stream Program • Included Recycling of Polystyrene & Film since 2002 • Removed Colored Polystyrene in 2014 • 3-4 Garbage Bag Limit every 2 weeks

  4. MWA Fall Workshop 2016 • May Board Meeting – provided a regular market and processing update on Polystyrene issues • They asked – What other problem materials are there? • June Meeting – Film Plastics

  5. Cost MWA Fall Workshop 2016 • Polystyrene • $24,000/year to process & ship ~5 tonnes • Film • Cost to process far exceeds revenue received ($2,135 in revenue over a 2 year period) • High costs to recycle small portion of waste stream
