9.1.1 Your Investigation will include the following task B.1. Crime scene search. Organize and conduct the searches utilizing one of the following methods: strip, circular, and quadrant. • Prepare Rough Crime Scene Sketch
9.1.1 Your Investigation will include the following task B.2. Sketch of a crime scene, include the following: a. All appropriate measurements. b. Identification of items of evidence. c. Identification of reference points. d. Scale to which sketch is drawn. e. Legend or key. f. Direction of north.
9.1.1 Your Investigation will include the following task’s B.3. Photographing the scene. B.4. Fingerprinting. a. Examine scene for prints. b. Dust and lift latent impressions.
9.1.1 Your Investigation will include the following task B.5. Locating the evidence. a. Identify. b. Collect. c. Mark. d. Preserve You must process minimum of five (5) items of evidence for your final crime scene processing requirement
9.1.1 Your Investigation will include the following task B.6. Preparing a complete offense report and any supplementary reports. You will use Bexar County Constable Report form to complete this requirement
9.1.2 Practical Exercise • Participant will process his/her assigned crime scene and must turn in all requirements listed in B 1 – 6 to the instructor. • Participant will submit all required paperwork and be prepared to present his/her findings to class.
Use folded 3 x 5 card writing the number using bold magic marker as a substitute for yellow evidence markers. You must provide minimum of one (1) photograph of your crime scene and of one (1) of your evidence items. One (1) Rough Sketch One (1) Final Sketch
