  2. Objective • To provide an update on restructured Code rollout

WG Objective and Rollout Strategy • To promote awareness, adoption and effective implementation of revised and restructured Code • Strategy aimed at global stakeholder engagement • Rollout tag line: Prepare, Engage, Activate • One stop webpage for resources and tools • General and targeted outreach: in-person, webinars, webcasts etc. • Social media, e.g., Twitter, Linked-in, Youtube • Articles and other publications

Call to Action • IESBA WG and Staff cannot do this alone • Critical for IESBA and TAs to get involved • CAG, NSS, regulators and audit oversight bodies, IFAC member bodies, firms, educators and others also have a role • Areas of focus • Engage target audiences and identify new ones • Mobilize and leverage IESBA/IFAC networks and digital assets • Deliver consistent messages

Key Messages From NSS • Alignment needed between restructured Code and IAASB’s standards (not a straightforward exercise) • Challenges with accessing restructured Code and other tools and resources on IESBA website because of need for pre-registration and login • Calls for “train the trainer programs” in local jurisdictions • Calls for practice aids and illustrations to help SMPs • Code has potential broader marketplace appeal

Matters for IESBA Consideration • IESBA members asked to share views about: • Planned and ongoing efforts aimed at promoting awareness of Code • Whether there are specific messages, resources and tools that might be needed for certain jurisdictions or constituents • Any known challenges or concerns that might affect adoption or effective implementation of restructured Code and suggestions about how to overcome them
