  3. Her Religion and Holidays Celebrated • Buddhism • Goes to the temple to pay respect with her family. Considered a tradition. • Thai New Year (Songkran) is celebrated April 12th-15th. Very family oriented holiday. • Mother’s Day and Father’s Day are celebrated on the King and Queen’s Birthdays

  4. Favorite Food and Hobbies • She enjoys fashion and wants to become a designer Favorite Thai dish is called “Som Tum”, also called Papaya Salad

  5. Her Impression of America Differencesand the Biggest Change Safety, Freedom and Equality are the most important things so far • Education is different from Thailand (no uniforms) Grades 1-6 is primary, 7-9 secondary school, 10-12 is high school • Freedom of Speech
