  2. White mask. We decided to use a white mask to show no emotion and expressions on the persons face, we believed this gives great effect creating a uneasy feeling to the audience watching, as the masked person show’s no human emotions which people cannot relate to every day life. This creates a enigma which is very common throughout thriller films and epically ours which we have created. Throughout the film the audience are trying to work out who the masked person could be adding suspense until the ending, while trying to work the main puzzle in the film.

  3. Cross Necklace We decided to use a cross necklace which links with the synopsis of the film where her father is a religious man where she rebels against the religion by taking drugs and alcohol. Although this is a subtle hint it all adds up when making the film, reminding the audience of her back ground and family’s expectations with a simple necklace. We also will use a close up of her necklace for effect of her strict catholic religion she is expected to follow through while it swings side to side around her neck. We chose the silver cross as it can be used as a mirror which she can reflect everything her family believes in through a simple piece of jewellery and also to look in it to remember her identity.

  4. Red Hat. Red has a connotation of danger and blood which can link to a thriller film and mysterty We also chose a hat to show her youth and fashion which is important in todays society for young adults and teenagers which the main character ‘pearl’ is.
