Interference to ECN base .
E N D
Interference to ECN base Cellular handsets have about the same max terminal power as DECT transmitters. A substantial part of cellular handsets operate close to max power. With max power at the cell boarder, in average 50% of the handsets operate within 6 dB of the max power. With the same terminal power, a DECT transmitter will cause 12-24 dB lower interference to an ECN base, than an ECN TS (handset) on the adjacent block in the same geographical position as the DECT transmitter. And typical DECT outdoor enterprise below roof top 6-12 dBi antennas, do not increase the probability to interfere with NLOS UMTS base stations compared to an isotropic antenna Interference to ECN BS from a large number of ECN TS on the adjacent block 12-24 dB higher ACIR 33 dB ACIR 46-56 dB (51 dB in Rep. 65) 23 dBm terminal power ECN TS on block adjacent to interfered ECN base 9 -12 dBi antenna <0,01 % of transmitters 24 dBm terminal power
