    4. CSM-NREL Joint Center Energy and the Environment are central themes at CSM Internationally recognized scientists and engineers in renewable energy Coupling with key scientists from NREL creates a unique team Collaborations enhanced by close proximity

    5. Renewable Energy Materials Research Science and Engineering Center

    16. Colorado Renewable Energy Collaboratory (CREC) A Research Partnership Created in Early 2007 Among: National Renewable Energy Laboratory Colorado School of Mines Colorado State University University of Colorado at Boulder Six Research Centers including CRSP

    19. CRSP Structure: Three Programs Shared Research (members). CRSP members help select pre-competitive shared research projects and receive non-exclusive licenses to the resulting technologies. Shared research projects are supported by a pool of funds created from membership fees, funding from the Colorado Renewable Energy Authority, and potentially other sources. Sponsored Research (members). Any Member may contract with one or more of the CRSP institutions for an independently funded sponsored research project that focuses on specific areas of interest including results of shared research projects. In addition, exclusive licensing is available. Federally Funded Research. The CRSP institutions plan to receive funding from the U.S. Department of Energy and other Federal agencies to conduct basic research on novel approaches to and/or applied research on solar photon conversion. The first such funding was announced in April 2009 when the US DOE Energy Frontier Research Centers were awarded.
