ALPS: The Summit in Training Purpose of the Learning Program • WHY: To ensure: • a) A+ Toys employees receive a recognised qualification • b) Assist A+ Toys meet national benchmarking standards • c) A step toward A+ Toys obtaining RTO status • WHAT: Achievable outcomes: • Recognised qualification for employees • A+ Toys will be an employer of choice • HOW: This Learning Program will be used to: • Enhance employees future career potential • Improve under performance • Assist development in current roles • Induct new employees to A+ Toys • WHO: Employees and Management of A+ Toys • ALPS Training
ALPS: The Summit in Training Training Needs Analysis (TNA) • Current knowledge & experience: • ALPS will conduct a thorough TNA either by individual interviews or discussions with Team Leaders and Managers, or a combination of both, as required by A+ Toys. • Career Development: • The TNA will identify those employees wishing to further their career within the Company and training can by structured accordingly. • Organisational Requirements: • The TNA will give A+ Toys an over view of the current standards of all employees and as a result, will be able to set general benchmarking standards. • Learning Styles: • Will include: - Visual • Auditory and • Kinesthetic
ALPS: The Summit in Training Program Specifications • Accredited Course – BSB30110 Certificate III in Business • What does it entail? • 12 Units of Competency in total • - 1 core unit • - 11 electives • - 455 nominal hours • 7 units must be selected from the units of competency that are within • this Training Package • 4 units can be taken from other accredited courses/training packages • at level III • 1 unit may be brought in from a level II accredited qualification • 2 units may be brought in from a level IV accredited qualification
