  2. Circle The locus if all points that are a fixed distance from a given point.

  3. CONE Three dimensional figure with a single base tapering to an apex. The base can be any simple closed curve. Often the word cone refers to a right circular cone.

  4. Box Formally, a polyhedron for which all faces are rectangles.

  5. Triangle A polygon with three sides.

  6. Semi-circle Half a circle. That is a 180 degrees arc.

  7. Right Pyramid A pyramid that has an open aligned directly above the center of the base.

  8. Right triangle A triangle which has a right 90 degrees interior angle.

  9. Hexagon A polygon with six sides.

  10. dodecagon A polygon with 12 sides.

  11. disc Union of a circle and it’s interior

  12. angle 2 rays sharing a common endpoint. Angles are typically measured in degree or radians.

  13. Circular cone A cone which has a circle as it’s base.

  14. Rhombus A parallelogram with four congruent sides.

  15. Perpendicular At a 90 degree angle.

  16. Quadrant The four sections into which the x-y plan is divided by the x and y axis.

  17. Regular pyramid A pyramid with a base that is a regular polygon. The apex is not necessarily directly above the center of the base.

  18. Right angle A 90 degree angle.

  19. Polygon A closed plane figure for which all sides are line segments.

  20. Decagon A polygon with 10 sides.
