Kesimpulan • Negara-negara bergabung dalam kerjasama perdagangan dengan menciptakan FTA; • Ekonomi global tengah mengalami pemulihan setelah krisis ekonomi menimpa sejak tahun 2008; • GDP , LPE, Inflasi, dan nilai tukar pada beberapa negara besar mengalami pelemahaan di era krisis ekonomi; • Brazil, India, China, Indonesia, dan Rusia adalah negara yang tidak terlalu terkena dampak krisis ekonomi; • AS (permintaan konsumen lemah dan masalah perumahan), eropa (sovereign debt-Krisis Irlandia), Jepang (deflasi), Asia Timur tumbuh pesat (8.3% 2010-ADB)

Kesimpulan • Daya saing kita mengalami perbaikan pada beberapa bagian namun masih belum menggembirakan • Birokrasi dan korupsi menjadi penyebab utama lemahnya daya saing; • Indonesia memiliki peluang untuk berkembang daya saingnya seiring dengan semakin baiknya mutu SDM dan kekayaan alamnya; • Memulai usaha merupakan pekerjaan yang tidak mudah khususnya masih rigidnya pengurusan perijinan.
