Caddo every-day life Caddo farmed corn, beans, squash, and melons. The Caddo made very beautiful pottery and bows. The Caddo men and women worked side by side in the garden unlike many other tribes.
Caddo weapons and clothing Most Caddo wore deer skin clothing and moccasins during summer and fall. During the winter months the Caddo wore buffalo hide robes and clothing to keep warm. The Caddo used a bow as their prime weapon. The Caddo did little hunting so most weapons were souly for defensive purposes.
Caddo appearance The Caddo men and women were tattooed all over their bodies. The Caddo men wore breech-cloths and leggings. The Caddo women wore wrap around skirts and poncho tops. Both Caddo men and women wore earings and moccasins.
