Your Responsibilities Be helpful: Don’t say “do it”. Explain how! Parent complaints: deal with it! We all know parents can be difficult. Maybe they don’t understand. It’s up to you to enlighten them! We’re your experienced friends. Need help? Ask!
Computer lab work • REGISTER FOR THE SCIENCE FAIR • We cannot stress the importance of this enough. Just do it. #Nike • Finish typing up the “Conclusion” section Next Meeting: Monday, March 3
Discuss with your buddy the results and possible presentation methods (mean, median, mode, etc) Things You Should Be Working On: Data Analysis
Graphs should have annotations explaining them Example: “This graph indicates that the possibility of receiving extra credit in your science class is indirectly related to the frequency of not paying attention during Mentor Training sessions Things You Should Be Working On: Graphs
Suggested Layout: • Summarize results (include background info) • Answer: Do the results support or contradict hypothesis? • Discuss relationship between variables • Summarize and evaluate the procedure: How could you improve? How could you expand? Things You Should Be Working On: Conclusion
