Workshops provide training to young scientists. Workshops are videoconferenced across partner institutions and videotapes available on C-MORE website
Student leaders gain additional trainingthrough workshop organization and evaluation. • Team of nine graduate students & post-docs: • 1) Wrote NSF-style proposal (EDventures) • 2) Organized workshop • Professional facilitator • Panel of speakers, featuring C-MORE faculty • 3) Constructed evaluation materials • 4) Executed workshop! • 5) Analyzed feedback • 6) Publication • 3 papers published to date; 1 in review • Student/post-doc authors “I have the skills needed to resolve conflicts in the workplace.” Pre-workshop: 18% Post-workshop: 73%
