And Now…. • Once again a warm welcome to Madison! • We hold DIS 2005 during an interesting moment: • New measurements emerging from HERA, TeVatron, SLAC, RHIC, Jefferson Lab and COMPASS • New theoretical advances in QCD. • New linkages between measurements made in nuclear and particle physics. • About 2 years before the conclusion of the HERA - II program • Important to assess the present experiment and theory • Important to examine options for future experiments using the best information from experiment & theory • We hope that Madison will be a conducive place for such deliberations • Thank you for coming!
