Buffer

Buffer. A solution that can resist a change in pH when an acid or a base is added to it. Buffer capacity. The amount of acid or base that a buffer can withstand before the pH changes. PH – depends on the Ka and the concentration of acid/base pairs. Henderson Hasselbalch equation.
