  1. Junior Research Prizes: Travel, registration and accommodation for either the American Diabetes Association Annual Scientific Sessions 21st-25th June 2013 (Chicago, IL) or the American Endocrine Society Annual Meeting 15th-18th June 2013 (San Francisco, CA). The 2 Junior Prize recipients will also be required to write a meeting report which will be published in an Elsevier Journal. The Elsevier/OCDEM Annual Junior Research Prizes in Diabetes Endocrinology & Metabolism 2012 How to enter: If you are a graduate student or junior post-doc (< 2 yrs since awarded PhD/DPhil) actively involved in research in diabetes, endocrinology or metabolism at the University of Oxford please complete an application form (available from the OCDEM website). You will have to submit an abstract of < 300 words on your research. The deadline for abstracts is 12noon Friday 24th August, 2012 We are pleased to announce this year prizes in 3 categories:- Elsevier/OCDEM Junior Research Prize in Basic Science Elsevier/OCDEM Junior Research Prize in Clinical Science Elsevier/OCDEM Basic or Clinical Science Poster Prize 3 finalists for each junior research prize will be short listed and invited to present their work orally to a panel of Judges on FRIDAY 21st September 2.00-5.30pm in the Robert Turner Lecture Theatre, OCDEM. All other applicants will be invited to present their work as a poster for consideration for the poster prize.
