Science Operations Centre • Astronomer on Duty in the SOC • Provides (astro) assistance to visitors • Help with setting up remote observing (PKS + ATCA) • Extended “friend” system • Help with data reduction in Marsfield post observations • Interaction space in SOC (e.g. morning teas) • Visitors Program (covers accommodation) • 2 week minimum stay • Distinguished Visitor Program (terms negotiable) • Long term visits (3 months+) ATUC - June 2013 | Simon Johnston
