S3 Biology Seed Dispersal Project Overview Learning Areas Levels Scottish S3 14/15 years Objectives • Objectives were: • To give pupils an insight into how they learn • To allow pupils to establish a way of learning that would suit their own style • For pupils to learn the methods of seed dispersal Description Pupils were given an initial lesson in which they were taught about learning and learning styles. During this they completed questionnaires to establish their intelligence type (Gardner’s) and VAK In a second lesson, this information was used to determine how pupils learned the academic material Software Keywords Microsoft Word.   2. Teacher and School Information Carnoustie High is an six year comprehensive school within Angus regional council. Dr Anne Wallace is a biology teacher within the school and Sandra Paul is a teacher within the SFL department. Pupils come from a mixture of areas including the town of Carnoustie and outlying farming areas.
