  15. Red Flags of an Abuser • Appear to be the ideal partner at first • Rushes into the relationship • Extremely jealous and possessive • Blames others when things go wrong • Severe mood swings • Pressures you to adhere to a rigid gender role

  17. So…what is “Dating Abuse/Violence”? A pattern of crossing boundaries over time. A pattern of harmful behaviors over time. Purpose: to gain power and controlover an intimate partner (attempting to limit another’s independence)
