Why do we need Mobility Management? • Regional Center Consumer • Attends 5-day vocational program • Consumes 10 rides per week, 520 rides per year • Conservatively $24,440 per year at $47/ride • Ongoing service • Reduce Fare ID (Fixed Route) • 25 cents for ACCESS eligible • 25 center for PCA to accompany ACCESS eligible customer • Cost to ACCESS Eligible Rider (Fixed Route) • 520 rides per year @ .25/ride = $260

FTA 5310 Grant OCTA received a 2 year Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Section 5310 grant to develop and launch a Mobility Management Program (MMP). • Development and implementation of a Travel Training Program for seniors and persons with disabilities • Complete the 1st phase of the development of a Specialized Transportation Services Information and Referral project • Goal to bring in-house
