  2. Status • The relative importance of one character to another

  3. Conflict • The struggle between opposing forces

  4. Characterization • The process of developing and portraying a character

  5. Creativity • The ability to transcend traditional ideas, rules or patterns to create meaningful new ideas, forms and methods.

  6. Concentration • Exclusive attention to one object; close mental application

  7. Motivation • What impels a character to behave in a particular way

  8. Objective • Goal; one’s efforts or actions are intended to attain or accomplish a goal or target

  9. Intent • Objective or expected outcome

  10. Obstacle • Problem which prevents the character from achieving the goal

  11. Plot • The plan, scheme or main steps of a dramatic work • Storyline

  12. GOTE • Goal – character’s principle quest • Other (person) - with/for/from whom you seek your goal • Tactics – Character’s means of trying to achieve a goal. This give acting its “guts”. • Expectations – Intended outcome (needs excitement and enthusiasm)
