  13. Troubleshooting Host System MSB on board • Unable to detect MSB by the host • Able to detect MSB, • Driver could install on the system completely Hardware Issue Software Issue Confidential

  14. Hardware Troubleshooting Step1. Plug MSB, but system hangs. Unplug MSB, system works. (Check if the CPU ) Step2 .Check MSB is fixed Step3. Wipe edge-board contact (gold finger) Step4. Change another card Confidential

Test Utilities-PComm • What is Diagnostic • Provide internal and external testing, such as IRQ,TxD/RxD,UART, CTS/RTS, DTR/DSR, DTR/DCD • Multiport Serial Boards only • When to use Diagnostic • Driver Installation completed, then you want to check if MSB works functionally • How to use Diagnostic • Connect loopback terminator after COM ports and then run the diagnostics program.
