Consequences of port construction Opinion of different researchers: the construction of a deepwater port greatly change the state of the environment and increase the human pressure. The construction and operation may adversely affect the water quality and biodiversity of the Vistula Lagoon. Also problems with dredging of the canal will be. Because difference between the average depth of the Lagoon (2.5 m) and the canal (18 m) is very big. Dmitry A. Domnin, Boris V.
