People swear by someone greater than themselves, and the oath confirms what is said and puts an end to all argument. Because God wanted to make the unchanging nature of His purpose very clear to the heirs of what was promised, He confirmed it with an oath. .

God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope set before us may be greatly encouraged. We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.
It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, where our forerunner, Jesus, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek. Hebrews 6:16-20
My Hope My hope is built on nothing elseThan Jesus blood and righteousnessI dare not trust the sweetest framebut wholly live on Jesus name
When the mountains are fallingwhen the waters are rising I shall be safe in You. Though the nations are quaking, every kingdom be shaken, still I will rest in You
When darkness seems to hide Your faceI rest on Your unchanging graceIn every high and storming gatemy anchor holds within the veil.
When the mountains are fallingwhen the waters are rising I shall be safe in You. Though the nations are quaking, every kingdom be shaken, still I will rest in You

Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the LORD. Psalm 31:24
ALL I HAVE What have I in this life
But the love in Your eyes
This empty world will one day fade
Only Your Truth Will Remain
Jesus all I have is You You’re the hope I’m holding to I might weep but still my faith Rests in You
As the heavens hold the skies It’s Your hand that holds my life
And Your love will lead me on When all else is gone
What have I in this life
But the love in Your eyes
This empty world will one day fade
Only Your Truth Will Remain
Jesus all I have is You You’re the hope I’m holding to
I might weep But still my faith Rests in You
As the heavens hold the skies It’s Your hand that holds my life
And Your Love will lead me on When all else is gone
Jesus all I have is You Jesus all I have is You Jesus all I have is You Jesus all I have is You
Jesus all I have is You You’re the hope I’m holding to
I might weep But still my faith Rests in You
As the heavens hold the skies It’s Your hand that holds my life
And Your love will lead me on When all else is gone
And Your love will lead me on When all else is gone
And Your Love will lead me on When all else is gone
No one who hopes in You will ever be put to shame, but shame will come on those who are treacherous without cause. Psalm 25:3
How He Loves He is jealous for me, Loves like a hurricane, I am a tree, Bending beneath the weight of His wind and mercy.
When all of a sudden, I am unaware of these afflictions eclipsed by glory, And I realize just how beautiful You are, And how great Your affections are for me.
And oh, how He loves us oh Oh how He loves us, How He loves us, oh.
He is jealous for me, Loves like a hurricane, I am a tree, Bending beneath the weight of His wind and mercy.
When all of a sudden, I am unaware of these afflictions eclipsed by glory, And I realize just how beautiful You are, And how great Your affections are for me.
And oh, how He loves us oh Oh how He loves us, How He loves us, oh.
But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions It is by grace you have been saved. -Ephesians 2:4-5
He loves us, Oh how He loves us, Oh how He loves us, Oh how He loves.
We are His portion and He is our prize, Drawn to redemption by the grace in His eyes, If grace is an ocean, we’re all sinking.
So Heaven meets earth like an unforeseen kiss, And my heart turns violently inside of my chest, I don’t have time to maintain these regrets, When I think about, the way…
He loves us, Oh how He loves us, Oh how He loves us, Oh how He loves.
He loves us, Oh how He loves us, Oh how He loves us, Oh how He loves.
He loves us, Oh how He loves us, Oh how He loves us, Oh how He loves.
He loves us, Oh how He loves us, Oh how He loves us, Oh how He loves.
For what You have done I will always praise You in the presence of Your faithful people. And I will hope in Your name, For Your name is good. Psalm 52:9
