  6. What is a Therapeutic Modality? • A Treatment Technique Utilized to Manage and Rehabilitate Sports-Related Injuries • When Used Appropriately, Therapeutic Modalities Can Greatly Enhance The Athlete’s Chances For A Safe And Rapid Return To Athletic Competition

  7. When Do You Use Therapeutic Modalities? • For First Aid Immediately Following Injury • Throughout The Injury Rehabilitation Process • The Choice Must Be Based On Theoretical Knowledge And Practical Experience
