Military Oligarchy Oligarchy is a form of power structure in which power is only given to a small amount of people. These people could be distinguished by royalty, wealth, family ties, education, corporate, or military control. Ancient Spartan had an army/military with a couple of leaders who made decisions for the people, they were basically in charge of everyone and everything. They also had a government that was nothing but the military so they grew up around learning to fight and being tough.
Counter Claim Ancient Athens had better education and never fought unless they had to. Athens were wise and very knowledgeable, also, Athens had a much more democratic influenced government which gave the people more say (besides slaves, women, and foreigners).
Why I am Against Athens I think Sparta is better because they have more opportunities for women than Athens does. Spartan people learn to fight when they are very young, which helps them to be tough and strong when they grow up so that they can fight in war. The Spartan battle saying is “ Son, come back holding your shield or on it.”
Move here!!!!! You should move to Sparta because they have more back round with fighting and battles and are more destined to keep you safe and protected.
About location The city of Sparta was a city in ancient Greece between 650 B.C and 362 B.C during the Greco-Persian Wars, situated in the southern part of the Peloponnese.
