  14. Fuel and Fuel Systems • Cummins Westport natural gas engines fuel requirements enable the use of CNG, LNG, or RNG. • Customers may choose CNG, LNG or RNG depending on duty cycle, application, and/or fuel availability. • Natural gas fuel must meet fuel quality requirements per AEB 79.05 (CES14624) • Regardless of how the fuel is stored on the vehicle, the at engine fuel inlet pressure at rated conditions requirement is the same • ISL G - minimum 70 psi, maximum 150 psi • ISX12 G – minimum 60 psi, maximum 150 psi Cummins Westport January 2014

  15. Bio Fuel Options • Landfill gas or biogas can be purified to “pipeline” quality • Purified landfill gas or biogas is called biomethane or RNG (renewable natural gas). • Cummins Westport approves the use of up to 100% biomethane that meets our published natural gas fuel specifications • A fuel quality calculator is located at cumminswestport.com • www.cumminswestport.com/fuel-quality-calculator Biogas Purification System CWI Marketing - Jan 2013

  16. Ruan-Fair Oaks Farms Partnership • Ruan began hauling Fair Oaks milk on CNG powered trucks in August 2011 • The fleet, operated by Ruan, includes 110 professional drivers, 42 tractors powered by renewable CNG, and seventy-five 6400 gallon food grade tankers • Ruan professional drivers are trained in milk handling and milk sample testing along with CNG fueling
